He explained that EverquestwasWorld of Warcraft,”the greatest MMORPG ever made.” He said people committed their lives into it. He explained your guild became your loved ones. He said that a decade later, people still played the same intensity they had 10 years prior.

And he then explained World of Warcraft will be all that and much more.
I had a quite difficult time understanding what he meant by that. I hadn’t ever played an internet game. I couldn’t fathom making”friends” within the Internet. And that I had never played with a single console sport for at least a year, maybe two. The thought of playing the same game for ten years now has been incomprehensible.
And my account was still there, also that I logged online to play for a few weeks.
It’s been over 10 years now since the game came out. And , 10+ years laterI still keep in touch with some of the folks I met through that match. I still play the game when I feel the need to pop my head back in and say hello to this”alternate universe” this, in some sense, increased me.
And I am not the only one.
People still play World of Warcraft today since, not only can it be an extraordinary match, but the sport retains emotional memories for each one of its players.
That match was I put a few of my toughest goals–and attained them.
That game was in which I met some of my closest buddies.
That match was learned things about my work , my creativity, that I have since taken with me, and certainly will continue to carry with me to the rest of my life.
Whenever someone attempts to”quit” playing World of Warcraft, it’s said it isn’t the match they miss, but many folks.
